Nawalparasi, Literary writers and artists expressed their protest against the unofficial Indian blockade through their creations.
The freedom of expression practitioners presented the model of literary protest against the Indian atrocities through songs, poems, gazal and drama.
On the occasion, literary writers including Bhupendra Sharma Bhattarai, Jeevan Sapkota, Deepak Raj Bhattarai, Deepak Swoti and Bimal Diwas cited their literary pieces. Likewise, a street drama written by Jeevan Sapkota and directed by Khagaraj Sapkota was demonstrated with the theme to protest the disruption of essentials on Nepal-India border.
