Quake-hit Chepang get supports from Irish national

Chitwan, November 24th 2015: An Irish national has extended support to the quake-hit Chepang families at Darechowk VDC in Chitwan district.

Irish national Brid Gavin, who is working in a hospital in Ireland, provided blankets and solar lamps to the Chepang families in the VDC being touched by the sufferings of the quake-hit people.

A total of 86 families were given blankets and solar lamps worth Rs 500,000 at Pipaldada, Barek and Tinghare villages. Each family was provided with two blankets and a solar lamp, according to Suman Ghimire of Sauraha Lions. Sauraha Lions was coordinating with the Irish lady to help the Chepang families.

The Chepang families in the villages have said that they are elated from the relief assistance as that would help them to escape the cold in the winter.
