Black marketing of fuel

Chitwan, November 24th 2015: Political parties in Chitwan district have accused the administration of failing to manage the systematic distribution of fuel and LP gas.

At a programme organised by District Administration Office, Chitwan, the politicians said that black marketing was on the rise due to administration’s failure to manage the available quantity of fuels.

The leaders argued that administration was providing fuels to some petrol pumps based on their approach and access, and the petroleum entrepreneurs were also involved in black marketing due to anomaly in fuel distribution.

Likewise, the leaders have asked the officials for systematic and fair distribution of the fuel by curbing black marketing and to form a monitoring team for the same.

On the occasion, chief district officer Binod Prakash Singh said that traders or whoever others would be brought to book if they were involved in black marketing.

Meanwhile, the local administration has supplied 690,000 litres of fuel so far from different petrol pumps since the beginning of unannounced blockade from India.
